As a healing modality, Reiki is a form of energy work that allows individuals to release, revitalize, and heal, restoring harmony and balance. It works on the physical, emotional, mental, and spiritual levels for surface-to-soul-level healing. Whether you receive treatments from a practitioner or take a class and become Reiki attuned yourself, or both, Reiki is a gentle but effective method for wellbeing, self-growth and self-evolution.
Many illnesses and dis-eases are physical manifestations of energy blockages in our bodies. Reiki works on more than one level of an issue and thus, assists us in releasing and healing beyond simply the physical or emotional.

Learn Reiki for yourself. Reiki enhances other healing practices and allows healing energy to flow through you, aiding in maintaining your personal energy levels as well as providing a gentle and calming energy to others. It is a wonderful compliment to any profession, bringing a healing, positive energy to all environments. Certified training is offered in all levels: Level I through Master Teacher Level in Western Reiki; Shoden through Shihan Levels in Gendai Reiki; and all seven facets of Sekhem-Seichim-Reiki. All classes are small in size.
Reiki is said to have been rediscovered in the late 1800's by Mikao Usui. It has been practiced and taught in many places around the world. In recent years, much is being learned and written about Reiki and the various traditions in which it has been passed down to us.
Valorie is attuned in Usui Ryoho Reiki (Western); Gendai Ryoho Reiki (Japanese); and Sekhem-Seichim_Reiki, also known as SSR, traditions or schools. Her healing practice is based in Hermosa Beach, California, USA, where she is available for private sessions or classes.
